Giving by Check If you prefer donating by check instead making an online donation, here's what to do. First, we suggest you PRINT OUT this page, and keep it with your other payables. When you are ready, make your check payable to TFLP-MP. TFLP-MP is the tax-exempt 501c3 non-profit group acting as our fiscal sponsor, until Be An Elf has its own 501c3 tax-exempt status approved. This way your contribution will be tax-deductible. Write in the check memo, "For Be An Elf". The initials stand for "The Friends of Levitt Pavilion-MacArthur Park". As our fiscal sponsor and non-profit partner, they will forward your donation to us. We are raising the funds to hire a non-profit attorney who will apply to the IRS for our own non-profit status.
